Covid-19 Alternative Testing

Our best information on getting a Covid-19 test if you don't have a car:

-Call 811 rather than using the on-line form
-Use the "talk to a nurse" selection
-Explain your special needs

Remember, you CANNOT use Handi-bus if you have symptoms. IF you can't use an accessible cab you need to ask for some kind of special arrangement for an in-home test.

IF you can use an accessible cab:

City Cab: 403-605-9999
City Cab has accessible to wheelchair and drivers who will take you even if you have symptoms (let them know this when you call)

United Cabs: 403-777-1111
United Cabs also has some cabs with a plexi-glass separation and drivers who will take you.

Covid Policy and & Services Changes

Hello Members! We hope you are doing well and staying safe in these difficult times. It is with great pleasure that we are announcing that we are in the process of reopening our facilities! However, with this re-opening comes a set of new changes of our program and services policy that is required in order to conform with the regulations set by Alberta Health Services reflecting the current situation with the Covid-19 Pandemic. Until further notice, the Rehabilitation Society will be operating on an appointment only service, where members will be required to call ahead of time before arriving on the premises, no drop-ins will be permitted. Please note there are LIMITED SPACES at this time. Please review the Program and Service Policy below for additional information and call in at 403-263-8341 and speak to John or Noreen for bookings.
